okay.. you hear about all these celebs having all this money.. and yet, we have kids starving on the streets!!! gas prices going up,but yet nascar still going strong. it makes no since.. our world has to suffer because of other people's greediness.. I know not all celebs are greedy, but some are down right selfish.. whats your opinion?

I think you are grossly oversimplifying the issue.
Based on your argument, we shouldn't enjoy ANY recreational activities until EVERYONE in the world has plenty of food and a reasonable place to live. Maybe we shouldn't be allowed to sleep either, because we'd waste valuable time that we could be using to distribute food. Come on.
I don't see any starving kids on the streets where I live. There are food banks, soup kitchens, and I don't know a person alive that wouldn't give a hungry person some food if they had it to give (and that INCLUDES rich celebs). The starving kids you DO hear about are starving because their parents are irresponsible and don't take them to such places where they can eat. You can lead a horse to water...etc., etc.
Sure, gas prices are going up and NASCAR doesn't make any sEnse to you. But I don't see you trading your car in for a bike, and boycotting products that had to be shipped to reach you. You shouldn't call people you don't even know greedy or selfish when you're not helping the situation either. You're in a glass house yourself, so it's best not to cast stones.
Personally, I don't think people have the privilege of bitching about something unless they are part of the solution and not the problem. To me, it's the same as blaming McDonalds for making you fat when you eat 3 Big Macs a day. If you want to solve a problem, start locally. But don't get upset if others don't share your same vision...the nice thing about being an individual is getting to think for yourself. Thanks for the question.
