i passed out from sucking helium out of a balloon with out taking a breath an hour later i woke up on the hallway floor

I have gotten pretty high from helium, but never really passed out...I have passed out from blowing up too many balloons though lol.

I'd heard if it happening before (you're not the first case). For some reason helium doesn't seem to work right for me so I've never felt the effects for myself so I couldn't tell you exactly why people pass out. But obviously it's because your body can't run on helium because it's different than Oxygen in the fact that Oxygen is much more reactive than helium and it doesn't stick to your blood.

I almost did. I was breathing in a lot at a pep rally. Yelling in that high voice and I got dizzy and fell to my knees. I didn't pass out, but I was like whoa.

i came real close to it. i would suck in the helium and get on the loud speaker at work. that was in my younger days LOL

No, I have never passed out, but a friend almost died because they took in too much and not enough oxygen. It was almost like she suffocated. The paramedics said she almost died.
