My big sister inspired me. When she was 7 and I was 5 she drew a girl that was so awesome I HAD to be able to do it myself. I can still remember it being a driving force within me. That was the moment that catapulted me into becoming an artist. I remember it vividly. I wanted it SO BADLY, like nothing I had experienced in my 5 years of life. It is probably my earliest intense memory. It was destiny.

Some of the artists at www.deviantart.com inspire me to keep designing. Believe it or not but art comes and goes in fads & being modern rather than primitive on your technique and style is always beneficial to become an amazing artist no matter what your choice of poison is.
I try not to dwell on all the good things artists of that past have created, there time is gone. It’s the people & the talent here and now who inspire me most!

My short version: I have always liked to draw. I seemed to be pretty good at it, even at an early age. When other kids in shcool were drawing stick figures, I was doing balloon figures. When kids were doing balloon figures, I was putting mine in realistic clothes and shoes. Even to this day, (I am 57 yeas old) I still recharge my creative batteries by going out and doing live sketches of anything I might come across. I don't usually have to work from a live model when I do paid work, but practice makes this possible.
My inspirations are many, of course, but I can particularly point out Disney and Warner Bros. cartoons, and Norman Rockwell (who insisted on working from a live model). In later years, Peter Max helped lead me away from strict realism to more fantastic, creative efforts. Oh, how can I forget the influences of comic and fantasy artists like Steve Ditko, Carmine Infantino, Boris and many, many more.

I've always been drawing, never really liked painting(which doesn't make to much sense), but I've taken a interest in it recently: you can paint your deepest inner thoughts directly onto the canvas.
My other interest lays in the realm of 3d/2d animation, and what really inspired me to challenge that was Terrance Walker, a light wave user and independent animator. He does a lot of anime and magma, which is incredibly cool! Another artist(well,he's more of a designer actually) who inspires me is Shegero Myamoto: the creator of mario, donkey kong, zelda, ect.
I like his style.
