Tell me bout it! I hate that stuff! It's like dont call unless you can speak clearly! No offense but I dont have time to listen and try to understand what someone is saying!

most companies outsource their telemarketing and support lines to other countries, most in the far east, where they hardly speak english at all. it cuts down on the cost of labour, like most other people have stated.

Most compananies are based in places with cheaper labor, the places with cheaper labor generally don't speak english as a native language.

Because they dont have to pay the people (who dont speak english) a very high salary in different countries.
For example, some banks forward their calls to India, because they dont have to pay the workers as much as they would have to pay workers in the U.S. get it? Its all about the money.

because like everything else in this country anymore, we outsource it to places like India and pakistan because the labor is cheaper and the bodies are plentiful
