Plug the iPod into the computer (the iTunes has to be fitted for iPods) right click the iPod name when it appears, go to options, set it to manually update, then click and drag from library to iPod. If you want to get songs from your iPod to your computer, you have to use an outside program like PodUtil

Well you can get the cord used to plug into the computer to transfer songs and then plug it into the first one and transfer the songs from itunes or something onto the ipod then unplug it from that one then plug it into the second computer and do the same.

If you install itunes on on your old desk top you'll be able to copy those Items from your dest top to i tunes. select all and drag to itunes. plug in your IPod make sure you uncheck the box to automatically update (you don't want that it will erase your entire IPod library). From there select your songs and drag them to your IPod. Or select all and drag them.

You'll need to transfer the songs to your new computer. ipods are only geared to work from one computer.
