It can technically be possible if you guys messed around at all before putting the condom on. Or there could be a tiny microscopic hole in it. But most likely, you're safe. Especially if you had sex only 8 days after you're period, you weren't quite at you're fertile period yet (which is about 14 days after your period, but it depends on the woman). Don't worry about it too much or the stress could make your period come even later and that will make you stress even more.
Condoms are only 99% effective. You should try spermicide lubricant and/or the pill to try and get that to as close to 100% as possible.
Keep being safe! There needs to be more people like you that at least try to have safe sex! Congratulations on your effort.

If youre using condoms then probably not unless the condom broke. Depending on your cycle would determine if you could get pregnant at this time. A womans cycle normally runs about 28 days which means she could get pregnant on the 13,14 or 15th day.
