it opens directly to the slide show, u cant edit!!!!!!!!!!!

PowerPoint files that launch automatically are saved as a PowerPoint show with the extension .pps.
Open PowerPoint
click on the file menu , then choose open
Browse and find the file (on your desktop etc)
Then click on file and then OK
You should be able to edit and make changes

Hit escape or click the right click of the mouse ,, you will see a sign like an arrow pointing up, click it and then change whatever you need to be changed.

if i understand your question, first open power point, then open the presentation and you can edit it.

hit escape during presentation to stop it.
