JUST AS I THOUGHT! To find an answer you do not know. Yahoo! Answers' purpose is to allow others to share insight and discover things by way of other people, instead of an encyclopedia. And no, it is not stupid, and not everyone is addicted!

I love this place because it gives me something new to think about on all kinds of subjects and all different views to ponder. I don't feel as if I am addicted, although I do spend a part of every day on Yahoo!answers.

If you think asking questions is lame why are you doing it.
There is alot of valuable information on this site that we can get from others.

We can. We always want to know if other people thnk the way that we do, or else we hope that someone else will be willing to tell us what will work when nothing we tried has. We want to expand our knowledge. Maybe we want sympathy. What it boils down to, however, is that we ask because we desire.

because they get to choose the best answer. it kinda' gives them an opportunity to select the reality they want to live in.
