actually deisel is higher priced fuel.it is all politics (money).the cars in europe get about 60 mpg small car.and they use a special cataletic converter so the emissions are kept low

The United States charges more for diesel because it pollutes more. Thus people are less likely to wish to purchase diesel cars and parts for thos cars are more rare. In Europe diesel is not frowned upon since europe is not yet worried with the pollution. Unlike America, thank you very much Hummer
