Nope, would never fly. It would ruin the capitalism installed into modern marriage. Now you allways get screwed because it is for life, so you pay to get out of it.

If it was a lease, you just disconnect the battery park it in the garrage, let home owners insurance cover it, get another lease, and wait until the lease is up to make the return to avoid penalties.

As for Kids, when you lease you sign a contract with the options specified. If kids are not in the contract, then they get returned to the manufacturer.

Who would stand for that. You would have to enter into the lease with a set allimony payment depending on the lengh of the lease. But then the Republicans would consider it prostitution then and it would never fly.

Might need to reduce the terms of the lease . Go with a 1 year lease and the option to buy. That way if you want out of the lease earlier the penalties might not be as high.

No I think that is a bad idea. For one thing what a hurtful thing to suggest. You are giving up on a life time relationship of commitment to one person ,before you even have a relationship. This suggests to me a relationship with you would be rocky from the start. And do you think the children too should come with a Lease agreement? Heck I wouldn't want to lease a man, I might want to keep him and if he leased me, he could dump me even though I would want to keep him. Lots of heartache and pain with this idea. And if the kids aren't up to your expectations then are they to be dumped too in favor of new ones? Think of what kind of society this would create. Many civilizations have disappeared in the past because of the instability and the destruction of the home and stable family structure.

I think Marriage licenses should expire and have to be renewed every 5 years, sort of in the way a drivers license works. I don't know if I think leasing is the way to go.... LOL

Because when it comes around the time to renew, it opens the door for the couple to communicate any issues that may want them to not renew, and opening the door to problems is the best way to try and solve them.

Lease will cost you more than buy (marry). You have to give more incentive (sign things you do not like) at the start to lease. Yeah, what if the lease expire and you like the old clinky car (you may love your partner), but she has another lease term to fill.

No way. Marriage is forever. If you're not sure, don't do it. People who have lived together before marriage have a higher divorce rate than those who haven't. Marriage is serious business and should be seen as holy and subject to God's laws.

I would take a 3yr lease but you cant go over 12,000 blow jobs, each additional BJ would be 10 cents.

No not at all and i would not want it either. I love my wife and this would not be a good idea for us. You should be happy in your marriage and relationship and not be looking elsewhere ever.

People are not automobiles. If you don't love her/him, don't marry. Anyone can shack up and play house for as long as they want to, but to debase human beings by comparing them to cars is profoundly ignorant.
