The basic version of Limewire is free; Limewire Pro costs about $20.
BE CAREFUL.
Limewire has been known to install adware and spyware, especially if you download it from a site other than limewire.com.
It is also notoriously difficult to un-install.
Peer to peer sharing networks are like playing russian roulette. Some people have great results and no problems, but eventually someone gets hit with something which causes their system to go funky.

Yes it is free. There is an option to buy an upgrade but you don't have to. My husband downloads from there all the time.

Yeah, its free. But I dont recomend it. When I used it, it slowed my computer down really bad.
