Why Not? My parents are 7 years apart. You don't have to date someone your age.If your 15-17( lets just say 17 years or younger. I said 15-17 because I personally don't think a child under 15 is ready to date;not even at age 16), it may be an issue with the law( thats if your parents opposes the relationship); but go for it.3 years is no biggie.

Everyone's right...it depends so much on your ages. If you're both adults, it's perfectly appropriate. If you're a minor and he's an adult...no way. The reason is because his intentions will be completely different than yours. If he says yes to a date with a minor, beware! If you're both minors, that makes you no older than 14 or so, and the answer is a huge no. He's at a completely different stage of development than you are and it wouldn't mesh at all. Not only that, neither of you are ready to make appropriate judgements about dating each other.

I say totally..unless your under 14 then do you really need to mess with boys yet?! But 15 on go for it...I never dated a guy my age and usually they were 2-3 years older.

Well I am not sure your age. If you are a minor and he is an adult over 18. No, don't put him in that position. Other than that it doesn't hurt to ask an older guy out!

I don't think you should ask him out. I still believe that is something that the man has to do. I do not think that 3 years is any big deal though. So I say, let him know your interested and then let him ask you out.

Yeah!
A big difference would be 10 years, but if it's only a three year old difference GO FOR IT!!!

Wish I had that kind of luck... ;-(
