Are you wanting to connect to your in car system so you can use your "in car" speakers for sound?
I did it for my portable by using the cassette deck, not the CD player...you might have to pull out your deck to see what kind of connections exist on your system...better seek a professional installer's help!

Well if you DVD player has RCA outputs you just plug them into your deck and select line in and if want to get even easier use a fm broadcaster. You can get them on Ebay for cheap and they just click into your headphone jacks and send a signal out that your deck and pick up. Hope this was some help
