no, you shouldn't...you should get married to a guy because you love him and you want to spend the rest of your life with him and he feels the same way...now, if you happened to have helped him get off drugs, then so what? ....also, what does he being a train engineer have to do with anything?

well do you love him?? Just because that is the only reason he gives for loving you doesn't mean that is the only reason that he does, it is just less abstract then the things you probably want to hear. But also remember that being in love isn't enough to get married. You will have to talk about others things such as money, children, division of labor, and much more to see if you are even on the same page.

No, not if you hardly know him and dont feel the same way.
Just because he said he loved you because you helped him get off drugs doesn't mean he could exactly be a good husband to you. Do you really believe he REALLY loves you and could support you? Do you really believe he's going to stay off drugs for the rest of his life?

No, that is not a good reason to marry someone. Marry him if you love him and he makes you happy and when you are old and grey you will still want him at your side to share things with and laugh together.

Please dont marry him hastely. It is common for every human being to naturally like people who have helped us and we may also get a soft corner.
But in the long run u may regret because drug addicts never behave normally, coz they naturally tend to go back to drug addiction again. At that time u will feel sorry for yourself

if that's the only reason then no. You have to love someone, respect them and want to spend the rest of your life with them.
Sounds like he is very appreciative of what you have done for him but I'm sure he can find a way to repay you that doesn't involve marriage.

You should only marry someone if you love them back mutually. I wouldn't marry someone just because they told you they loved you. Marriage is a big committment for life.
