i'm 2 1/2 wks late for my period and i had unprotected sex a while ago but he didn't *** in me. So i went ahead and took the test. I did it in the morning so the pregnancy hormones would be stronger. Both came out negative; so is that really the result? since it has been weeks after my period was due... hmm ?

well, i explained this in my other question thread. He did urinate between the time we had sex and the time he last ejaculated. So wouldn't that clean out all the sperm that were left in there? And it can't be a STD because my partner did get tested and he was clean. Me, on the other hand, haven't got tested yet but my past partners always had a condom on. I guess what left now to do is go visit a doctor. Would a walk-in clinic help me with this? I don't want my parents finding out about this ...

thanks for all the help guys .

If you have a late period and a negative pregnancy test, then consider whether or not you’ve recently been sick, gained or lost a significant amount of weight, have been under excessive stress or have taken any new medications. All of these things can affect your menstrual cycle and cause you to have irregular periods. Additionally, certain types of birth control, including the birth control pill, Depo-Provera and Norplant, can cause you to have menstrual cycles disturbances. To be sure, go see your doctor.

There are multiple things that could be wrong now. Some women have a lot of preoblems with urine tests, they just don't work for some women. Not often but it does happen. You can ask your doc for a blood test. If I were you though I would go to the doc and get checked for ovarian cysts because that may stop an egg from dropping so there will be no period. Best bet would be to talk to a doctor just to be sure that it isn't something life threatening because something is obviously wrong. Also if your body fat is too low you won't get a period, or if you are under stress. While I was in basic training I never go my period not until I had finished all 6 months of my training and was at my first duty station for 3 months.... Stress and low body fat are the most common reasons for no period.

If it jas been weeks the results should be true but if you are sincerly convinced you are preg. or don't believe the test for some reason you can always go into any planned parenthood or your doc. and have them do blood work to check your HCG levels, that will let you know for sure.... but usually you the test is accurate if taken two days after your missed period.

But to be sure go with the blood test. If this is something you are stressing about then it could be stress that is throwing your hormones off and causing you to be late, but I must advise you that because your boyfriend didn't *** doesnt mean anything.... there is always pre-*** that comes from a man's body during intercourse which can cause pregnency.

Pregnency can ever be caused from a man wearing the wrong size (to big) condom. It only takes one sperm.... remember that next time you have unprotected sex not wanting to get pregnent.

Unfortunatly you need to go tot hthe doctor . For one there is pre *** so just because he didnt *** in you there is a chance you could be pregnant . Aside from that you could have contracted an std , or maybe some type of infection . That would make you late also . Get to the doctor and get checked out . DO NOT have sex with any one else untill you are checked out .

The local centre for birth control or Planned Parenthood are probably your best bet. The advantage of these over a walk in clinic is that they will give you a full work out and test for all STDs and pregnancy and give you education about birth control options, physical fertility awareness and safer sex practices.

It doesn't sound like you are pregnant. When you are young, your cycle is in flux, but it also sounds like you don't protect yourself properly and that you believe street talk about birth control and fertility (urinating doesn't clean sperm out, it cleans the tube they come out of so that they can reach your egg more easily, even in pre *** and natural male lubricant).

I hope you see this frightening experience as a chance to educate yourself, protect yourself and learn how to love yourself a little more.

Go to your doctor for a blood test. Home tests are not 100% accurate. It is a good starting point, but if you still have not started your period or if you have some symptoms, breast tenderness, nausea etc. it is best to go get a blood test to be sure. Lots of reasons you may no have started like stress from thinking you could be pregnant.

I don't think STD or Pregnancy are your problem. If you've been exercising more than normal or loosing a lot of weight...that will make your period late. Wait a day or two more and if you still don't get your period then call your doctor and schedule the appointment. You'll feel better.

I didn't have a period for three months once, due to stress. You should go to the doctor to get it checked out. You could be just stressing over the possibility of being pregnant.

If you're test is negative, you probably aren't pregnant. If you're unsure, take the test again. If the guy didn't ejaculate in you, you shouldn't be pregnant, and if you got your period already, you probably aren't. Next time, use protection, so you don't have to worry. Sometimes your period will not follow the schedule perfectly.
