The speed of light is well known, but the speed of darkness must be the speed at which cold travels.
Let me explain, light generates heat, at what speed does heat travel compared to light and using that same equation you may be able to calculate the speed of freeze and thus be able to calculate the speed of darkness.
Also, darkness may also travel at the speed of light, for example, turn off a light bulb in a huge area and darkness will appear as fast as the light disapears.

Darkness is the word termed for the absence of light. Darkness thus does not truly exist and thus does not have a speed. This really could have been answered by just looking up the properties of light.

There is no speed of dark persay, however if you really wanted to, since darkness is the absense of light particles, you could measure the speed of dark by mesuring the speed at which light leaves the area.

The speed of dark depends on how fast the light energy is absorbed. If it is a black area, the it would be instantly.

There is no 'speed of dark'.

However, there is a "Speed of the Sound of Loneliness". That's a pretty good song written by John Prine (although I'd go with Nanci Griffith singing it over John Prine).

A black hole has a force of gravity so great that light itself can not escape...but xrays seem to and radiowaves propogate from the center...so...the speed of darkness..must be at least the speed of light plus..some fraction..
