Juan's Pollo Casa. It's right up shithole avenue next to the cages with the dead chickens in them. You know, across from the whorehouse.

Depends on where you are going. Anyplace that serves mofongo is good in my book! We stayed in Isle Verde, and they have many little hole in the wall restaurant/bars on the beach that serve great food for cheap. However, if you go into old san juan, go to Ostra Cosa and check out their food and drink. I went back to puerto rico a second time, just to go to that restaurant again!

Well It depends where you live and what do You want to eat and how much are you willing to spend.
Zipperle in Hato Rey, Metropol and Mi Casita in Isla Verde, La Barca in Salinas. Bebo's barbecue in Laguna Gardens Bets Chicken in PR, Angelitos' Lechonera (Rosted Pork) in Trujillo Alto.
