I am a total newbie to this - but could anyone please advise me on which website to sign up to for music downloads so I can download onto my computer and then burn onto a disc? I looked at MP3-Freebie website and that was 99p a month. Is there any cheaper ones and also is it legal - I am uncertain about all this! I like in the UK.

limewire is not a good idea as it mucks up your computer totally. Trust me, after a while you wont notice the difference but your computer will be worse off.
Ssaying that, though, most of the music download programmes aren't that great for your PC, but I've got Morpheus which is great because it doesnt give you all the adware that the others do.
If not that, then iMesh aint bad. But dont get Limewire, i did and it crashed my computer 3 times - PC engineers told me never to use it again!

Technically, it's not legal, but so many people use it that it would be impossible to stop it. I'd actually go with the payment one, not sure if it is actually 99p though, usually its like £10 or sommat - but if it is then 'bargain bucket!'
Be careful with giving your bank details to places like that though, it may not be safe.

Happy listening

that is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cheep so i would not be compolaning most songs are 99p for 1!!! but as long as you pay for it ( in your case montly payment) it is legal.
if it is free it is an illigle download!!! (unles there is a deal like buy 1 get one free(i think))

Yes it is totally legal as far as I know, and to be honest, I don't think you'll get much cheaper, though you could try Napster.
