More than half of the posts that I see on fantasy sports message boards are from people trying to recruit managers to join their private leagues. Typically they'll give a brief description, possibly the league settings, then they provide the league ID and password.
I've done the same myself when I needed to fill a league. My league advertisements are written in good taste and seem effective.
But recently I noticed that I've been locked out of posting on all of Yahoo!'s fantasy sports message boards. Presumably I've committed a TOS violation but I can't think of anything I've done that could be considered a violation, unless it's these sort of league advertisements.
Are these league advertisements spam? Is that why I was locked out?

Absolutely! That posting is no different than any other 'unsolicited commercial offer' posted in any other group or sent via email. It's always bothered me that people do that and now I know why.

golfing - I once tried gazing it. did not quite understand some thing except for hit the ball with the stick so it is going into the hollow. i do not study about the scoring and stuff. in any case, i must claim it replaced into between the most boring issues I ever watched. F1 - ok i wager. never quite watched it. football (football) - actually the game is wonderful, yet I never quite were given into it. I watch from time to time, and it really is kinda exciting. :) American football - i do not realize even quite it. i replaced into never fascinated sufficient to ascertain (similar as golfing). Cricket - properly i do not actually have an theory how is it performed. they don't quite coach it on television, so I never even watched it. Baseball - looks ok, yet I never quite watched a authentic interest of it. similar as American football - they never quite coach it on television round right here. i have considered it in some video clips although, so i understand somewhat about it, yet no longer a lot. Rugby - i do not quite understand how that's performed, or what's it precisely. Snooker - properly i tried gazing once, and were given very bored. It probable isn't as boring once you play it, yet watch.... XD i'm no longer a number of a activities human being lol. XD i imagine i'm gonna connect the game. don't sense like doing it now tho, so i will probable connect day after today morning. :D

Technically any type of advertisment is considered spam or even though it seems like it should be fine I'm sure that's what the violation is for.

you might get suspended from posting due to the volume of posts overall - so if you post a lot of things to lots of boards, the overall volume might get you blocked.
