Print out the e-mails. Do not delete them. The message header might contain tracking information.
Bring these to your local police department, and file a complaint. You might call the police business line, and ask for the Detective Division. This is may not be an emergency, but you should make arrangements to file the complaint. If you believe that you are in imminent danger, do this IMMEDIATELY.

You can report this person by contacting their internet provider. If they have an e-mail address like johndoe@aol.com, it is obvious that they are using AOL for their e-mail. If this is the case, you can e-mail abuse@aol.com and tell them who is e-mailing you, what they are saying, and what their e-mail address is. I would suggest forwarding the e-mail to abuse@aol.com instead of retyping it as this will provide the abuse department with proof of the e-mail. In the case of Yahoo!, I searched for it and got the address http://abuse.yahoo.com/. From this page I found the Mail Abuse Report form at http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/mail/cgi_abuse. As you can see, the place to go will change depending on where the e-mail came from. Just take the host (the part after the @ sign) and go to that page, then search for "report abuse" or similar. E-mailing abuse@host.com would also likely get your case heard.
The person could be spoofing their e-mail address, using a fake one. If this is the case you need to check the e-mail headers and get the IP address the e-mail came from. Use this in a reverse IP lookup to get the host that it came from. Then go to that host and find what address you should e-mail to report abuse. Normally this will be abuse@host.com or similar.
I hope this helps!

Look around the page for a "report" button/link. Or contact Yahoo via e-mail and fill them in. If all else fails, you can always block them.
