going on vacation to san antonio tx and I was trying to find an nice and cheap hotel near the riverwalk any ideas?

The only budget hotel on the Riverwalk is the Holiday Inn Riverwalk. All other hotels on the river are 4 star hotels and are pretty pricey.

On the riverwalk might be tough, but this time of year it's pretty dang hot down there so you might find a decent deal.

Try to search the internet for hostels...they're the cheapest...one of my favorite sites to search for those kinds of places is www.hostelworld.com, or use Yahoo!Travel to look for cheap places.
