A cell phone today not only stores contacts and phone numbers for you to use, but can also take pictures, surf the web, download music to act as a portable radio or mp3 player, and download other media besides music. Think about what a cell phone will be able to do in the future as more innovative ideas come along!

I think they will be used as GPS trackers. Not only will we be able to FIND people by their cell phones, but we will be able to track others (such as our children) with them as well.
I think it will be for those who have a 'family' type plan. I'll be able to 'track' any cell phone in my family plan. (Not anyone in the world)

Actually, a few companies are now using cell phones to allow users to download a program that will let them scan items in a store, then compare the price with that of other stores!

A breathalyzer for your car. After drinking, breath in it, pass test and the car will start, flunk test and it won't.
Program it with all bank and credit card numbers, and just scan the cell phone to pay and make transactions.
Function as a "live-time picture phone" like on the Jetson's. Look at the other person while you talk to them. (I would hate that, we'd have to look good just to make a call!)
Have the picture apparatus wired in with home security systems, and be able to access security cameras on your cell phone, to see what's going on at home or in another room.
Get itself an outsourced job so it can pay for itself and do away with cell phone bills. :-)

Maybe they can fix to to alert you if your car is being messed with--like at the mall--your car alarm could set off something on your cell phone
