i dont know what i did?im new at all this.i dont know where or what the toolbar is.LOL!!go ahead and make fun of me,i dont care as long as i get help.thanke!!

It probably means that you have reached the "end of the line" and all you can do is click on the little box with the X inside on your upper right corner. This will close the window that you are in and return you to the previous window, if there is one. This happens when something like a web page is opened in a new window, on top of the previous one.
You can also right click your mouse and a menu box appears.
There will be a "back" in the box, usually at the top.

There is no reason in the world to make fun of you!
And this is only one possible answer.

ok i hope i get this right. the line with the back, forward, stop, etc, go to the very left end. slowly move your cursor over the left end of the line until it turns into something like this <-->. Then while holding down the left mouse button slowly move the cursor right or left. This may make your back button reappear. Good luck!
