Keep in mind that "two years apart" doesn't mean much.
If two years apart in the aspect of a Senior in high school to a Sophomore in college, two years apart means more. College life is different from high school life. Values are different and activities are different. Therefore, that type of "two years apart" may become a factor.
However, if you're talking about a 25 yr old to a 27 yr old, that is no big deal. They're both adults and most likely in the workforce world. Therefore, they're so called "professionals" and age really doesn't matter much.
Besides, it's the maturity that matters. Even though the 27 yr old may be older, that person's maturity level might be as a 18 yr old (childish).
So, to answer your question, it depends on the maturity level. However, if you talking age "numbers", two years apart is no big deal.

What? My B/F is 9 years older than me and I love him dearly. How old are you anyway, not to sound mean, but, it's only two years not 20 and if you haven't told her your age by now, do you really honestly love her because you don't sound so sure of yourself here. Good luck I hope things work out for you.

I have no clue why I'm answering this and i guess it's only because i want to get more "points"
BUT IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT 2 LITTLE YEARS OF AN AGE DIFFERENCE THEN WE HAVE DEEPER ISSUES THAN JUST AGE! NOW IF YOU ARE 16 AND SHE IS 18 THEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. IF YOU LOVE HER WHO CARES AND YOU SAID SHE LOVES YOU RIGHT? SO STOP YOUR WHINING. GROW A PAIR AND SUCK IT UP! TELL HER. IF SHE LEAVES YOU THEN SHE NEVER DID LOVE YOU AND YOUR BETTER FOR NOT BEING WITH HER. wow i sound bitter. oh well have fun.

The longer you keep it a secret, the madder she will be if you dont tell her. If i was her, i would be really mad you didnt tell me in the first place, that you lied, but i would get over it if you got me something good, like vanella icecream, pretty fake flowers kuz i cant keep real ones alive, or a video game. Tell her, then get her something she likes is what im trying to say. Tell her as fast as you can!!!! Run, gooooo!

How old are you, 'cause two years only matters if you are really young, and in that case, no you will most likely break-up.
