last windows will be geniune?

my current win xp is geniune but its sp1.i wanna upgrate that.my cd content win xp sp2 is not geniune.if i install it ,the last windows will be geniune or not?

Not sure, but if you copy of XP is genuine, you can just download the SP from Microsoft. Download from: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx

just get the updates from Microsofts website
