It's not likely that he will ever change. I'm sorry. You have to make a choice. Either you love him enough to continue to live with him without being married, and never marrying him. Or you move on and out of his life, to find the right man for you, who will both love and marry you. Good luck.

I dated my husband for 7 years and we lived together for 4 years. We have been happily married for 5 years. Sometimes things take time. Ask him how he feels about you. Ask him where he sees your relationship in the next two years. If all else fails giv e him an ultimatum but be prepared for whatever decision he makes.

He will only change, when he is ready.... If marriage is what you want and he doesn't give it to you, you need to move on...
Remember though that it is just a piece of paper... If he treats you good and you both love each other.. Than don't concentrate so much on the marriage part... It would be nice, but not necessary...
GOOD LUCK!

I think you have to respect waht someone says to you. That person knows where their head is at better than anyone else in the world. You dont want to convince someone to marry you, you want HIM to want to marry you, so I wouldnt waste time trying to change him.

No. There isn't much you can believe out of a man's mouth but if he says he wont get married, he is not lying.

Nope. Sounds like he's following the familiar saying of " Why buy the cow when the milk is free ? "
