I don't think they will ever put in an FM tuner. Right now Apple has the biggest market share of MP3 players (more than 70%) without an FM tuner. If they did add an FM tuner, then that would reduce the demand for purchasing songs from iTunes. Apple knows that their customers would prefer to listen to their library of favorite songs rather than listen to static prone radio with commericials and DJs who laugh at their own bad jokes.

They probaly wont, beause they want you to buy the aftermarket FM tuner so they can keep on making there money.

The longer they hold out the more indemand it becomes. Which dtives up the price. More people trust the name ipod and will by it whenever it comes out. I say within the next three years it comes out. Better techology and better quality will be achieved by then.

Sooner or later. I heard rumors that apple is about to come out with an iPod that can listen to readio stations as well. I'm not sure if it comes out soon but, i hope they do come out soon.
