First of all, what type of question are you asking?
If your question is rude and/or way too personal, I can understand people being rude back. Sometimes, shock from a question makes people jump back at you.
Second, consider your questions before you ask. Have consideration for other people's feelings
How would you react to the question, "Are you pregnant or just fat?"

My little friend that question is easily, have you ever thougth about the manner you ask?
Some people r sentimental and maybe the WAY you do is rude for them.So if you want to have good treat think the words that are going to be out of your mouth and also begin with a good conversation and try to get the information between lines without making questions.

Maybe the question that you're asking is rude? Just because it's honest doesn't make it right.
If I asked someone, "why do you look so fat in those pants?" ...sure it's an honest question, but I don't think my response is going to be very nice.
Better to ask yourself "how am I asking the question?"

Someone else asked this earlier thi is what i said to them:
I think some people might just think that they're being clever and people will respect them for it. They just don't realise that their comments can be quite cutting and harsh. i know that this site isn't exactly all seriousness, but genuine people come with genuine problems here, and it's so insensitve when they just approach it like that.
But if you think about it, when they have asked questions they might have had people be rude to them (but then they should KNOW how cruel it is).
Hmmm....
How rude.
(P.S as you predicted a dude at the middle of the page with a cowboy hat on "bob" or somethin, didn't leave his email address....)
P.P.S: you can ignore the cowboy bit it has no relevance.

I wish I knew!! Some people just try to be funny or dont have anything smart to say!!
One of my questions was "reported" a couple of weeks ago for no reason at all-- I had asked a simple question regarding Memorial Day weekend plans, i just needed to get some ideas on what to do myself and some **** reported the question??? and of course, yahoo answers dont really review the complaints nor do they check the contents of a question-- Because if they had then my question would have not been removed!

Well that entirely depends on what your question is. There is no true answer to "why are people so rude when I ask a honest question". I guess you could just say they are trying to be funny, also they could be trying to impress you or somebody else.

Unfortunately that is how some people are. Also sometimes depending on the category you put your question in will effect the kind of answers you get. To see what I'm talking about it click on my ID and check the responses to my "Push up and Padded bra" question in 2 different categories. Although my question was not a serious question look at the different type of response I got in the 2 different categories.

I sure don't mean to be rude when I answer a question. Some things just come off the top of my head and I just can't resist to answer.

Because they can't be rude to people in their lives, they take it out on people online. In a nutshell, since they are cowards to behave like this in real life, they come online to abuse others. I think it might help them vent the anger from their pathetic and sorry lives.
