Use PRESCRIPTIVES!! (spelling) You can get it at the mall, they will mix the makeup to match your skin perfectly. You just need a good foundation, a little pressed powder, a little gloss and mascara to look nice and not over made up.

Everyone does things a little differently, but here's what I do: Always Always Always start with a moisturizer that has some SPF in it! Then onto foundation (I like cover girl, can't remember what its called but its something like true blend) spot concealer if you need it, a little bronzer if you choose (on areas that the sun would naturally touch) blush on apples of cheeks swiped up on cheek bones. Then I go to eye shadow; light color all over, darker at the crease, highlight on inner corners of eyes and brow bone. Then to eyeliner, probably in a neutral color like brown if you're just starting out. Black can look too harsh and now that its warmer out, you want lighter colors. Then I would use a lipstick or gloss. I don't use mascara so I won't try to advise on that! Have fun with experimenting or copy whats done on models in magazines, you'll get the hang of it! Most important is to not go overboard! Good luck. :)

OK here we go.
I always do my mascera first. that way, if I get smudges on my eyelids (or even my nose lol) I can wipe it off without ruining something else. I always comb trough my lashes afterwards with a toothbrush, or the brush side of a lash and brow comb thingy and brush off the mascara flakes that come fall on your cheeks. after that do the foundation. If you have nice skin you shouldn't even need foundation, but if you do use it, use it sparingly. It should look like skin, not makeup, blend it into your hairline and around your jaw. Make sure you test it on your face at the store, and look at it in sunlight to make sure it matches your skin. don't use the back of your hand, it's never the exact same shade as your face. For blush, use a powder since you're a beginner. get a shade that you would naturally turn if you were embarrased, nothing orangy or hot pink. always use a big soft brush. the ones that come in the package make you look streaky and uneven. to put it on just swipe the brush against the blush, tap off the excess and smile. you want to make strokes from the apples of your cheeks, back to where your ears meet your temples. don't use too much.Eyeshadow is easy Make sure you choose sheer colors if you go too dark or bright, you'll end up looking like Marilyn Manson, or MIMI from the Drew Carey show. just sweep a little color across your lid from the inside out. to make your eyes look more open, use a darker shade from the same color family and sweep it in and just above the crease in your eyelid from the outside to the inside tapering it off at the inside edge of your iris. Always use a soft brush for eyeshadow. sponges put it on to heavy. Eyeliner is the toughest. draw a THIN line agross your top lashes try to stay as close to your lashline as possible. If your going to do the bottom too, only do it from the outside corner to about 1/3rd of the way in or it will make your eyes look smaller. Afterwards, take a Qtip and smudge the liner alittle so it blends instead of looking like a drawn on line. Only showcase one feature at a time. pick your best one. If you have nice eyes, highlite those and stick with a pretty lip gloss. If you have great lips, maybe do a little more color there and go easy on the eyemakeup. The first few times through this take a hand mirror and go to a window, or outside and look at yourself in the sunlight. lightbulbs don't really give the best light to judge if you overdid it. You shouldn't look like your wearing a lot of makeup, if you do, wash your face and try again. I hope this helps!

Foundation, Powder, Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Mascara, Lip Liner, Lipstick. As far as product choice, I have one of almost everything. If you don't mind it being pricey I would definitely go for mac. They have the best make-up.

I start with the eye pencil first (so that you dont smudge your foundation ) then apply your foundation with your finger really lightly (using your finger is best as it blends the foundation better than with a sponge) then put marcara on (eyeshadow before mascara if you want to wear it) then lip liner and lip stick. thats the order i do it in and i find it works best.... hope this helps

THE VERY FIRST THING U WANNA DO IS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CLEAN FACE BUT MAKE SURE YOU WASH IT WITH COLD WATER BECAUSE IF U RINSE WITH HOT WATER UR PORES WILL BE VERY VISIBLE. NEXT U APPLY UR FOUNDATION (ONLY IF U REALLY NEED IT) I THINK THE MORE NATURAL U ARE THE SEXIER. THEN APPLY UR EYE SHADOW, A VERY SOFT COLOR IN THE DAY TIME AND A DARKER COLOR AT NIGHT TO HIGH LIGHT UR EYES. THEN UR MASCARA. APPLY UR BLUSH ON LIGHTLY BUT THEN AGAIN IF ITS AT NIGHT ALWAYS GO JUST A LITTLE DARKER. THEN A NICE COLOR LIP GLOSS WOULD DO THE TRICK. I PERSONALLY LIKE MAKE UP FROM MAC. AND THE LIP GLOSS CALLED "C-THRU" VERY SHIRE AND SEXY

IF YOU HAVE DARKER SKIN YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY USE A GOLD-TONE EYESHADOW.
YOU PROBABLY DON'T NEED BLUSH BUT IF YOU WANT TO WEAR SOME YOU SHOULD USE A MORE NEUTRAL BROWN-PINK COLOR.
FOR THE LIPS I WOULD USE A TINTED LIPGLOSS... SOMEWHERE IN THE PINKISH-BROWN FAMILY.
YOU COULD DO WITH OUT EYESHADOW, AND I WOULD ADD A TOUCH OF MASCARA TO REALLY ADD LENGTH AND TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE EYE AREA.
THERE IS NO PROPER ORDER TO PUT ON MAKE UP BUT THIS IS HOW MOST PEOPLE DO IT:
FOUNDATION
CHEEKS
EYES
LIPS
I HOPE I HELPED!!!

You need to find the best brand that works for you.
1. base
2. eyes
3. eyeliner(optional)
4. mascara
5. blush
6. powder
7. lip liner
8. lipstick or gloss
If you put base on your lips it helps the lipstick stay on longer, and you can add a light shimmer to your check bones it will give natural highlights to your face. Which makes you look more natural.

Foundation is usually the first thing you put on, then you do your eyes, blush and then your lips.
If you don't like wearing makeup, then why do it? I am sure your natural beauty is so much better.
