Ironically tobacco products kill over 400,000 people in America every year, while cannabis has no known fatalities in the history of mankind. If you have an ulcer you should eliminate anything that increases flare-ups including unhealthy food, hard drink, stress, etc. Knowing what you should do and doing it is what separate real men from the boys.

Both are equally as harmful. I work at a Cancer hospital and the ulcers allow the carcinogens to get directly into the blood stream, which places you at a very high risk for getting cancer. YOu are at great risk anyway, just by smoking.

Been trying to respond to your email.
Be very honest with the doctor. Tell him everything and ask him about every concern that you have. Do not let him leave the room until you are completely satisfied with your visit. That is your right as a patient, and his obligation as a doctor. You will be fine.
Write down every question that comes to mind and try to cut back on the mj and cigs. I know if feels good to do this when you are worrying, but you are just masking the problem. Find the root and work your way up.
YOU WILL BE FINE!

If you are having serious health issues like ulcers then you need to stop unhealthy activities like smoking cigarettes and weed. Your main focus should be on getting healthy again, not maintaining the lifestyle that lead you to be unhealthy in the first place.

Also, since weed has a tendency to promote feelings of anxiousness it can actually cause the ulcers to become worse. When humans get anxious our stomachs produce more acid which will make the ulcers worse. Combine that with the decreased healing ability that comes with cigarettes and you're in for a world of pain.

Cigarettes sometimes do that to people.

I don'tknowthatmuch about pot ( Never heard of anyonegetting ulcers from pot!)

But I do have a friend who was perhaps allergic tobbaco smoke ( I don't know for sure) and got ulcers whenever he started smoking regularly ( like 2 or 3 a day) He quit of course! No! not pot silly! only cigarettes! And does pot only once or twice a month and is Okay.

But I doubt you want to follow his example! Anyways, switch to pot at least.

Try to find the cause first. For a few days, don't smoke anythin, go to a doctor or whatever you want to do. Once you are free of ulcers, start pot and see if it causes anything. Then start cigarettes!

That reminds me of the way you check for problem causing settings at windows startup! First start only basic services, and then check the processes one by one. But let's not digress.

Any smoke that is ingested while puffing away is bad. Even though there isn't as much nicotine in the Marijuana it will still increase your production of gastric juices. Both forms of smoking will continue to irritate the lining of your stomach and possible make the ulcers worse.

Marijuana could actually help the pain of the ulcers and shouldn't hurt them as long as you don't smoke too much. Stick to a joint or two a day max.

Absolutely. In fact it's worse for your ulcers as joints have no filters to them so more of the "smoke" is getting into you causing an irritation to your stomach thus causing ulcer pain.

Good god, Don't you love yourself? Just quit them whether they are bad for ulcers or not ,it does not matter. They sure are bad for your lungs, brains. It makes a person a loser, and yes, they are bad for digestion. So, I guess they must be affecting your ulcers too. Smoking cigerettes and joints doesn't make you cool or adult like, It just shows how foolish you are.You have acquired a foolish and expensive habit which would be difficult to get rid.
