"Mon amour" for a man; "m'amie" or (I've seen this in literature) "ma mie" for a girl.
Colloquially, "mon petit chou" for "my little cabbage" = darling, dear!

One way is to say "ma petite cabbage." It literally means "my little cabbage," but it is used as something of a "pet name," like "honey" or "sweetheart."
