The system gives this message when it is started. If I ignore it and press the Ignore and continue button will it effect my computer in any way.I have been using the computer for 24 hrs since it started giving the alert message on starting the comp. The power plug is well placed.Hence there is no problem from that point of view.

when it gives you the message, try going to setuo instead of ignore, and then just save, and see if it will update the bios.
If it continues, it is probably just a bad battery, it is speaking of the cmos battery probably, did not mention if it was a desktop or laptop, so that is far as I can help

addendum:
I can't reply to the email, your email is not confirmed,
here is what I was going to email you
where does it show the voltage is low, at startup in the bios screen, or do you have a monitoring program. the voltage should be 3.0 volts +- .3. Chack and make sure the settings are right in whatever is telling you that. If it is actually low, you just have a bad battery. You cna buy new ones for about 3.00, and easy to change, just have to take the cover off, but I would contact the manufaturer if you are not comfortable with that, it should be under warranty

i say you should return the computer because new computers that have been installed only a month ago are good like mine i had it installed a year ago (custom job) and its working fine until yesterday a stupid virus F****** up my computer and its just sitting there and i was waiting for my uncle to fix it but my cousins came over anyways back to your story.... if its a notebook then immeidiately return that because it shouldnt give problems until a virus or spyware comes orrr its really oldd. even though it isnt you should go return it and get a new one... thats wht i would do.

Your best bet would be talk to the geek squad or some organization like that because there is possibly something wrong with the sensors
