I was engaged to a man that I love very much. We have a 2 year old daughter together. He told me that he was unfaithful and that this other girl is pregnant. Well it turned out that the baby is not his. I want to keep my family together but I don't want to go through this pain again. I know the saying once a cheater always a cheater. Have you ever heard of someone that did it once and never again?? I know this is a silly question because I have never heard of a person as such...

Once a cheater can recover from that, mistake. My friend cheater on he BF he never know, but that was a mistake. People learn from that and move on, give him a chance.
Family is important.

I'm sorry, but the only people I know that only cheated once were the ones that lost their relationship because of their infidelity. In the end, the decision's yours of course, but I've always thought that if a man cheats once, and is still able to keep his relationship, that will just give him fuel for thinking he can do it again. I would advise moving on. My one suggestion would be to part ways as amicably as possible for the sake of your daughter. Good Luck.

It is possible for him to cheat ONLY once.....you have to decide if you are willing to take the risk..It will be a very LONG time before you can trust him again..but it is possible. I have lived through it.....My husband was unfaithful ONCE 15 years ago....and to the best of my knowledge he has NOT done it again. It took me YEARS to trust him again but I did We have now been married for 10 years.

I know several people who have messed up and learned their lesson from it. Because the girl he cheated with became pregnant and he thought it was his and his life got turned upside down and everything else, I don't think he'll mess up like that again.

if he loves you like he says, he would of never cheated in the first place. move on
