Well, the CD's are fine. But I'm actually burning some of the same songs I had burned before and played fine. But then I had to flash my drive and since then it's been skipping but when I burn DVD's its fine. And if I burn the same song on 2 different CD's they skip in the same exact spot. And the files on my compter do not skip.

It all depend on the quality of the product you use. Specially the Blank Cd's. There are tons of cheap brands available on the market today. But its always worth going for products such as Sony, TDK, Imation.
Also Make sure you burn on the right CD. If the CD is for Video, if you burn Audio on it it will not work fine.

Also make sure to allow maximum read and write buffer space in the memory of you PC, so during the burning process it will not be disturbed. You can do this buy not doing anything else on your computer during the Burning Process

This happened to me once when I was using injet printable CDs and DVDs thinking I was going to burn CDs and DVDs and make my own pretty labels. My problem was that I bought the wrong CDs and DVDs! Check to make sure that the CDs you have are compatible with music and not just for data (little music icon on the packaging). Something that I overlooked. I assume your music listening device is more modern. If you device is older, skipping can be a problem. Lastly, it could be a problem with your hardware vs media burn rates. What is the max burn rate of your CDs? If your hardware is burning at a faster rate that your CD can support, it can cause skipping. Try burning at a slower rate (ie. 16 or 32X).
