Its really not recommended. The pain you experience will affect your baby and distress it, which could cause a miscarriage. Even if your thinking of getting a very small tatto, I strongly advise you against it. One lady a few months ago had a tattoo done on her ankle, and miscarried that same week. She was 3 1/2 months pregnant.

No real tattoo place will let you. Licensing doesn't allow them to. Just because of the usual things that can happen with tattoos. Like hepatitis. HIV. The risk is minimal but they don't want that liability.

You can do just about anything if you're pregnant. Should you? Probably not. It wouldn't hurt the baby, but if the tattoo parlor you go to doesn't sterilize their needles properly, you run the risk of catching Hepititis (among other things) which CAN harm your unborn baby...not to mention you!

The ink from a tattoo is absorbed into your body, so I don't think it would be safe. Everything that enters your body will effect your baby, so just to be on the safe side I would wait.

I wouldn't because of hepatitis, aids, increased infection risk that could harm u and ur baby. Some tatoo places won't do it on a preg. lady.

I went in to get one when I was pregnant and they wouldnt do it because they said that for some reason pregnant women can go into shock. So No.

my brother in law is a tattoo artist and he will not tattoo pregnant women, that is just his rules.

i had a friend that went to get one when she was like 6 months and they told he no because some people get adrenaline rush like when you're on a roller coaster,... so they told her to come back after she had her baby
