Please no ranting about Web 2.0 being a fad and all that. If the version number bothers you, let's just consider the question is the same as: in 2016, how will Internet fundamentally differ from what it is today?

NO MORE TYPING .....MAN NO MORE TYPING PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE???? NO MORE TYPING NO MORE TYPING...........and waaaaaaay better more effecient security protection we won't no virus scans, pop up blockers, firewalls and no email protection, etc., etc..........and NO MORE TYPING PLEASE NO MORE TYPING NO MORE TYPING.......

It will be more stable and fast. Everything is becoming progressivelt more stable because we are able to control the systems better. The only issue is at the same time hackers will also be better. ~__~; They make things really difficult. The only way to truly prevent a hacker from not getting in is to not have the internet. Since the internet is just getting better and better.. No one wants to do that. So the will attempt to make the internet more secure. It will last, for some time. In 10 years the internet will be the exact same mess, but faster.

i dont think INET still will be around at 2016. perhapse, just a name...
