I think that there's an interesting learning experience here for your kids.

Without actually skewering your kids' Dad (they'll learn to make their own judgements if they haven't already), I think that if they're asking questions like this, they're ready to digest this thought:

Sometimes, you will be compromised by someone's thoughtlessness. Rather than dwelling on the injustice of that, use it to make yourself an even better person by letting it show you what NOT to do to other people. Sure, other people behaving badly can make your world downright suck, but let their behavior enhance your life by being a shining example of who you do NOT want to be.

Tell them dad is trying to give them an example now so they won't do it later. If they see him do this he is teaching your children this way of life is acceptable. Maybe if you try talking to your husband about this he will not act this way in front of the children.

Tell them he is also a big baby like them (jokingly) but also tell them this is the way their father releases his everyday stress.

They need to respect their father as the head of the home so don't make bad remarks of their father.

if you have a problem with your husband's behavior, you should get a divorce. don't forget to tell the children that it's their fault. example: "billy, if you didn't strike out in everyone of your little league games, mommy and daddy would still love eachother."
