Unless you're a master Fabricator, welder, and body man, You shouldn't even attempt it! I'm not trying to be mean spirited, but that is a MAJOR conversion! Plus, if you buy the pre-made hinges, you know they'll fit and be strong enough for the job. JMHO.

Alright I hate to burst your bubble, but when it comes to something like your doors hinges, it is rather important that you know they are made right and are strong enough to keep them on your car. You are talking major fab time and you need the right tools. Lambo doors are cool, just get the kit so you know it will work. Good Luck with the tahoe. peace-

Why don't you see if there are some hinges out there that you can adapt to your car. Take a set of measurements to a wrecking yard and poke around a bit. You will also need a gas strut to hold the door open. Find a SUV tail gate that weighs about the same and see what it will take to adapt. A little welding, drilling, etc. and you will have your dream.

If I were you, I would stay away from that. The doors will never shut right again and may leak when it rains
