Bulgaria had a solid team in 1994, as did Germany in 1998 and Argentina in 2006. i might say all of their performances have been rather consistent. The worst i think of may well be 2002... sure you crowned your team (even with the indisputable fact it particularly is wasn't the main effective), yet dropping to the US as favourites is disappointing.
