this bugs me superman 2?

If it took clark 18+ years to develop his powers why did it take the 3 villians only seconds. Just watching it because the new movie is supposed to take place after superman 2

still doesn't answer the question. It took him years to absorbe the suns energy

You also have to remember that Superman also had mental blocks that he developed so he wouldn't create havoc on earth. If you remember his powers are limitless. The mental blocks helped him untill he learned to control that power he blocked.

The villians also learned from Milton Fine and it took them 18 years+ too but since they were adults, they already mastered their techniques.

Well, I would say the villains came over as adults. Clark kind of had to discover that he had powers and learn how to use them. The bad guys had been watching Clark and figured out that they'd be "superhuman" if they came to earth.(Clark had no one to learn from)

He always had the powers, he was reluctant to use them. The badguys were not reluctant.

if you paid attention to the story.or if you you watch the first one.you had noticed that the three villains were born long before superman.so they had the time to learn all about their super powers and knowledge which were similar to superman.but they used them in an evil way
