I would make sure I am in the type of job best suited for me. If you come home every day like that, time to do some serious thinking. Exercise is a good stress reliever. Watch that glass of wine thingy, make sure that does not become a daily habit.

That sounds lovely, I don't have a garden, but a chilled glass of vino and some easy TV is always a good plan. In fact - that is exactly what I plan to do tonight - I taped Lost last night, so I'll go home and watch that. Today has been a corker!

You cannot beat opening a nice bottle of red wine, sitting down on your terrace and just forget about the buggers who ruined your day. Then have a long shower and make love to the one you love. Have a good sleep, wake up the next morning and don't let them get to you at work again. Lifes too short!

The best thing to do psychologically is to think positively and think you have had a good day! A small exercise to do is count chimneys on your way home from work! Think I am mad trust me it works!
This is based on your emotions - humans always think happy thoughts when they are looking up the way and sad thoughts when you look down the way!
Think of the old saying about really happy people - 'They have their head in the clouds' i.e. meaning looking up!
Do some research into Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) this is how we program our own brains from using positive language!
I have completed a course in NLP and my life has changed for the better!

I guess we all know that feeling. What I do is come home, get changed into something very comfortable, make myself a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream (even if it's summertime), sit in my favorite spot on my couch with my comfy afghan, and watch something on the E channel. Works every time.

Well I had that kind of day today and I'm sitting at my computer with a bottle of cold 'Archers schnapps', I ordered an indian take away as I'm not in the mood to talk and if I was not doing this I'd be shopping.

I light a few candles, turn out the lights, Open a cold bottle of beer, or bottle of wine, turn on the disco really loud, and dance.

Listening to music
Eating lots of candies
Go driving with no destination whatsoever
Or even doing all these three things at the same time!
I have discovered that driving and listening to music at the same time is very terapeutic to me... it really helps me to think and relax.
