You usually have to sign up for a few offers, but you do get stuff. My friend got an ipod for filling out forms, but she got a lot of spam mail afterwards.

from what I heard. You do get something. But You have to participate and buy so much stuff that in the long run you spend way more on the junk than you would have on the free thing.

Some of them you have to complete offers and sometimes buy stuff, after that you have to get 8 friends to join and do the same thing before you recieve your item(s).

Usually they actually are real, but the thing is that you have to sign up for like some service they are sponsered by and then get three other people to sign up for a service.

I used to try to get things for free but I don't try anymore because its stupid I've never gotten anything.

no you have to buy into three or four things like DVD clubs or CD clubs stuff like that and you have to answer stupid advertisement surveys for like 20 minutes before you find out that you actually do have to pay

usually you have to complete a sponsor offer, like get approved for a credit card, or buy so much $ worth of merchandise at a webstore, or get accepted to an online college, etc....
