You can buy the TRACFONE for $20 bucks or any of their other models and then buy however many minutes you need. We have one and it's great to know their are no roaming charges, contracts or hidden extra charges.

yoou can get a tracphone. they cost about $20 for the phone and then you can buy air time. No contracts and no early termination fee just pay as you go. You can find tracphones at K-Mart Walmarts Targets and online. For the airtime you can either use a debit card or credit card and add time by dialing a 3 digit number on your phone or you can buy a card with time to add to your phone

I think that the cheapest cell phone is either Tracphone or cingular pre-paid phones at Wal-Mart. Good Luck!:-)

Metro PCS- You can get unlimited calls day or night within the continental US (only certain metro cities have this service)i.e.-Texas, Atlanta, SanFrancisco, (you may see the map on their website-Metro PCS). I paid $!00 for my phone and the service was $45.00/mo. No contract required. Check out their website.

You would want a prepaid phone. I got a Cingular to go phone from Wal-Mart and it gets great service all around.

I saw a trac phone in Dollar General for about 20 bucks. You pre-buy minutes for it. Thats your best bet.
