It's a marketing ploy, but they tend to be quotes from one of the thousands of movie critics in the world, so basically, it's the opinion of one person that the studio is trying to use to try and get millions of people to go.

Nah. It's marketing hype, of course. I heard a radio ad for a loan company who claims that deciding to go with their business would be "the biggest no brainer in the history of mankind."
Bold declaration, considering we still have much of the history of mankind to live out.
