I think that it's usually because there is something lacking in the marriage that the one doing the cheating is trying to find. Sometimes I don't think it's necessarily because the "cheater" doesn't love their spouse but because the spouse has perhaps closed themselves off from communication for one reason or another. No, it doesn't make cheating right by any stretch but sometimes there's more to it than just a hormonal rage.

A very controlling husband who thinks he loves his wife so much and gives her everything but makes her feel like a child. He always wants his own way to be followed thus making his wife sort of a possession - from picking clothes, car color, choosing her own friends, etc. Gets credit on all things that is right at home and with kids. Also, a husband who always makes threats to their wife, about taking everything away, especially her kids. Worst, a husband who cannot satisfy his wife’s sexual needs. Lastly, if the wife does not see her future with the same person for so many reasons.

well its depend on if its a man cheating on his wife or a wife cheating on her husband.i have found out thru my own infidelity and others i known that a women's views are different from a mans views.i have also studied thru some research into this matter to prove my point.women usually cheat for emotional reasons example, there husband quit telling them he loves them he don't listen no more, etc.a man is more a physical creature they cheat for lack of physical reasons such as example,no sex ,wife doesn't go With them do things with them like fishing hunting just what ever is something physical a man would like to do .women usually do all these in the beg but after marriage they stop going places the same or doing things and like i said sex usually stops or slows way down.so in other words women be more physical with your men and men be more emotionally involved with your lady and then you will see less affairs in this ole world!

Loss of interest in the other person. The other person not paying attention to them. For a lot of people, the feeling that all the "excitement" has gone out of the relationship. Some people are just pathological cheaters and there's nothing to be done about them.
Oh, yeah, and poor grammar. That's a real turn-off.

Lots of things. Unfullfulled expectation and needs not being met in the marriage. Feeling unloved and misunderstood... Selfishness and not wanting to be happy with who they chose to marry... Lots of reasons but when it comes down to it it is all wrong and sinful and no good reason to reallly cheat or be unfaithful to begin with.

When the spouse can no longer or is no longer willing to provide something, sex, emotional support. Usually it is perceived vs. real, or the person who cheats is not able to deal with something in their relationship and instead of confronting it with their spouse seeks another avenue out.

i think what makes them cheat is the lack of excitement. that feeling that you have when you first meet someone and go out with them disappeas after while and yu have to get that bck somehow. So you find it elsewhere because you have become to comfortable in your home environment to make anything different. it's all in the excitement and looking for something different than what they're used to.............

When the relationship goes sour or bad things happen. There can be and are so very many reasons for it. When you feel as though there is no love left and you desparately need it. So may reasons.

haven't cheated but thought about it. my husband is not there for me emotionally and doesnt care about providing for my needs. i have done everything for this man. forgiven him time after time for lies, controlling and abusive ways. he has no respect for me and it hurts. it makes me want to find someone who will love me, cherish me and treat me like a queen.
