The name of the childcare village ministries in Uganda, Africa is called Watoto Child Care Ministries. The word "watoto" means children in Uganda.
Since 1994, Watoto Children's Choir from Kampala, Uganda, has regularly toured the United States, Canada and Great Britain. Accompanied by a small team of adults, Watoto's performances are a soulful blend of native African rhythms, contemporary gospel music and ethnic dance. These children are among the more than 880,000 children in Uganda that have had the tragic and life-altering experience of losing one or both of their parents to AIDS. Uganda is not in South Africa. It's not even in Southern Africa. It's another country and it's way up there in East Africa.
I suggest you get a world map and locate Africa. When you've done this, go to the middle part. Now point and move you finger to the right. Going east now. Still with me? Yippeee, there it is...Uganda. And big too, is'nt it? It's big because it's a country and not a city.
I don't suggest going there as you might just GET LOST!!!!!!!
As for answering your question, the Children's Village is called exactly that...The Children's Village and it was founded by a Dutch Charity called The Children's Welfare Mission.

Uganda is not in South Africa!!!! Uganda is an independent country in East Africa, bordering Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, and DR Congo.
