I feel like it's a myth that I hear about. Ever since I left my last job over 3 years ago (a job I liked a bit) I haven't been able to find a job that I even like . . . let alone love.

Am I just grasping at straws to think I could find a job that I would love?

yeah - you just have to not care about the money - if you can live off little then you can do what you love. say goodbye to the guccis and prada while you are getting started. eventually though you should be able to make a good living with your passion

Not only is it possible but you should love your job and if you don't then you're in the wrong job. The reason for working should be fulfillment and because its something you're good at that you really get a lot out of that's more than a paycheck. You should be learning things but also growing as a person. I would say if you hate your job, life is too short. Figure out what would make you happy that is reasonable and how you want to grow and make a change.

The other thing is that people who enjoy their work tend to do a much better quality job at it than people who are just there for the paycheck.

Yes, I think it's possible. I think that some filmmakers love their jobs. There are people that have jobs they really enjoy like come computer guys love their jobs as Database administrators or Internet developers. I think that some journalists love there jobs as well as some teachers. I think if a person gets into the right field, then they can love their job.

I'm sure that it's possible but I've never experienced a job that I love. I'm 43 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I enjoy what I do and learn something every day but wouldn't say that I love what I do.

I love my life and my family but not my job.

Good Luck in your search!

what do you like to do? maybe you need to go back tos chool and figure out what you like?? i like to help people - i worked in EMS and i liked it ok - i worked for a call (help) center and i liked it ok - i worked in an office ihhhh it was boring - i started substitute teaching part time i loved it!!!

i am going back to school to be a techer i started with a litt major - which kinda bored me - i switched to history - which went from read instensive to writing intensive - and i LOVE IT - i cant wait to graduate and start teaching!!!!!

i still substitute part time and i love working with kids.

What do you love to do that you would do even if you did not get paid - and find a way to do it!!!

my friend is a neat freak - so she opened a home cleaning service 8 years ago she is making a lot of money now and she has several employees but she still goes out and does 30 homes a week herself!!

Rumour has it, that it is possible. Most people who do find jobs that they like usually do them because they loved the topic on it's on. for example Comicbook Artists (its true), writers, artists, etc. Okay so the ones i've listed are in the arts, but ask yourself this question. What really drives you? What do you really like doing?

Or you can just go talk to a job seekers and ask for adice.

No it's not a myth! I work in a combat communication unit in the Air Force and I am absolutely crazy about what I do.

It's not a typical job, I know. But still, they are out there.

Edit - Typo

GOSH I HOPE SO...

because I love mine.

The key is to find EXACTLY what you want to do.. then find someone stupid enough to PAY you to do it.

Actually both my REAL job and my part-time (extra money) job are like that. (and I had a third job I loved that I quit because we moved and the commute was getting old)

You can find a job you love, you just have to find something that you are interested in
