Actually it was AWESOME! So was every other piercing I got. There is a certain sensation that occurs that you cannot get anywhere else. I screamed when the needles went through but it wasn't so much the pain as it was the exhileration. Try it.

I had mine done twice and while it wasn't the most pleasant way to spend an evening, it hurt a lot less than I thought. It was more like an intense pressure. Now the next morning hurt like a *&^%$#. Kinda like your arm does after you get a booster shot. I have heard its kinda the opposite for guys though. It hurts more getting it done, but afterward, it doesn't hurt that much because your nipples are closer to your chest, so they dont move when you move like girls do.

yes!
inserting a needle into such a sensitive piece of skin is going to hurt. i've met people who said it didn't hurt, but you just have to know that's a load of crap. your nipple would have to be dead numb in order for it not to hurt
joinerism is no reason to hurt yourself. in phychological circles, it would be considdered self mutilation. a very unhealthy practice. the only good thing about piercings, it that you can outgrow them and take them out... you aren't branded with them for life like tattoos

No, strangely enough ripping the flesh of one's nipple is not at all painful. Even if it was, it is totally worth it to become part of the elite "I have metal through my nipple" club.

I don't have it, but my girlfriend does and she said getting it pierced doesn't hurt much, but its after that really hurts. it swells, and you have to take care of it so that it doesn't get infected. thats a pain too
