I don't know about football, but I am commish in Fantasy Golf. I have these options under commish tools:

Lock Group Members: Prevent any group member from posting messages.

Remove Group Members: Delete and/or ban any group member.

Change Password: Change Group password.

As commish in a Yahoo! league, you can delete anyone's messages they post, so that should help. Also, you have the right to boot someone from the league or to freeze their rosters so they can't change anyone.

Since no one's getting paid, you can't suspend someone without pay. The only punitive actions available to you are to lock a manager with respect to the following:

- posting on the league's message board
- trades
- add/drop players
- roster changes
- changing team name
- emailing fellow league managers via league email utility

I guess the most punitive of these is restricting their ability to change their roster or adding/dropping players. If they've given you permission to edit their roster, you could also effect a suspension by benching some of their players.

Of course, if your league hasn't drafted yet, you can boot them out of the league entirely.

Contact the League owners with your grievance, if they can agree to an action, then take it....I suggest some of the following...

Random one week suspension from League play...i.e. draw a number out of a hat, that week they forfiet their game....

A fine based on 20%-30% of the teams value....

If they have done something like cheat or steal from the league, you could kick them out of the league, based on a two-thirds majority vote....it's quite extreme, but perhaps warranted in some cases....use logic, if you did what they did, what kind of punishment would you expect....
