Drink lots of water (which I know can be tough since the baby can sometimes lay right on your bladder,) eat more fruit and soak your feet twice a day in warm water and epsoms salts. Keeping your feet elevated above your heart will help quite a bit too. Also, instead of forcing your swollen feet in shoes, get a comfy pair of slippers a few sizes too big. Stuffing feet in shoes can sometimes make swelling worse. Good luck and congrats

I agree with our previous frenz answers.Reduce intake of salt in your daily food.Avoid sitting or standing for a long time hours.try to walk a few steps here and there after getting up from chair.while sitting keep your foot up for this u can use some small stool or like furtniture.keep ur foot in warm water tub for few seconds to get relief.drink more water.Almost all woman will get relief from doing these things incase if u still feel uncomfort and pain with that then u have to see ur gynec bcoz it may be the indication of Increase in ur BloodPressure which would be harmful for u n ur child if not treated at right time. Don worry u will give birth to your child safely and healthyly.Congrats in advance.hope would help u.

Put your feet up on a stool with a cushion, slightly higher than your hips, and put something cool on them, like one of the flexible cold packs wrapped in a damp towel. Do this every time you sit down, and then if you can, elevate your feet with a pillow at night while you sleep.

Not only does drinking more water, reducing salt/sodium intake, and elevating your legs/feet help, but laying on your left side helps as well. Laying on your left side increases your blood flow because it gets the baby off of your major arteries and blood vessels. When you have proper blood flow, your body is better able to get rid of access water. And it is healthier for your baby too and lowers your blood pressure. Always try to lay on your left side! (And by the way drinking more water helps because it allows your body to urinate more often and not try to retain water because it thinks it's dehydrating.) Also eating foods that are natural diuretics helps such as cucumbers (1 glass of coffee works too as that is also a diuretics, but only as long as your doctor has okayed you to have a cup of coffee a day).

First talk to your doc to check for preeclampsia. Second, if the water and keeping your feet up don't work, try compression socks or hose. There are several from light support you can find at maternity shops to firm support you can find at pharmacies and online (Jobst brandname).
